A Week of Celebrating America's Native Ecosystems
Join us for an exciting and enriching week-long camp focusing on America's native ecosystems and Victory Gardens with patriotic activities made in the USA! Campers will plant seeds, harvest vegetables in the BE Community gardens, prepare meals, and preserve crops using canning techniques in the culinary kitchen. They will also learn to use basic tools to build seed trays and engage in other homestead activities.
Camp Highlights
Planting and Harvesting: Campers will engage in hands-on activities by planting seeds and harvesting vegetables from our community gardens, learning the importance of growing their own food.
Culinary Skills: Participants will prepare meals using the vegetables they harvest and learn canning techniques to preserve crops, fostering an appreciation for food sustainability.
